Let’s start with a round of introductions
I am a senior content strategist and developer ready for a new opportunity.
I develop integrated content plans, which I expertly optimize to achieve organizational goals. By providing leadership to creative teams and applying my own multimedia skills, I guide projects from brainstorming to execution, monitoring, and evaluation.
I have 15 years of professional experience and a bachelor’s degree in communication from Westminster University (previously known as Westminster College) in Salt Lake City, Utah. Most of my career has been with public marketing organizations in the gambling and tourism industries.
I am a dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada preparing to move north of the border on approval of my family’s permanent residency. I am seeking permanent, full-time employment remotely from my home office or in southern Ontario.
Speaking of the multimedia skills I mentioned
Whether written or visual, I review content with a sharp eye and provide actionable feedback to lead others to produce their best work.
The Montana Lottery boasted a distribution list of more than 162,000 subscribers, so I’m no stranger to best practices for successful email bulletins and list management using solutions like GovDelivery and Emma.
I believe a well informed staff is critical to any successful organization. That’s why I always plan from the inside out.
At the Montana Lottery, I developed monthly content calendars to maximize the strategy behind their social media platforms of Meta, X/Twitter, and LinkedIn.
I’ve used content management systems like WordPress and Evoq Content to build and manage mid-size to large websites. I excel at organizing information and articulating technical specifications.
As a former journalist, I synthesize complex information into clean copy that speaks to the target audience.
I’ll share a few examples of my work
And leave you with my résumé
